Newborns and Toddlers

Newborns through to toddlers and their parents have a special place in our church, literally! There is a room set aside for caring for infants with a window into the Worship Centre. You can care for your younger children at church and still be a part of the meeting.

Ascension Kids 1-7

For ages 1 through to 7 years old the Ascension Kids programme is lead by our qualified ECE Montisori teacher. Our volunteers create a safe, engaging environment, for the growth and development of our kids.

What is the check in procedure?

When you bring your children to the Youth Centre you will be asked to sign them in. Parents are welcome to stay for a few minutes to settle their children but please do not pop in and out during the service as it does more to disturb than help. One of the Ascension Kids helpers will come and get you if your child does not settle or needs you.
You will need to come and pick up your children immediately after the service.

The Resource Station 8-12

We believe that our older children need to experience God’s presence in worship and hear encouraging messages from the word of God. For children aged 8 through to 12 years we have an activity zone set aside in the Worship Centre where they can colour, do puzzles, and still be part of the meeting.

Noise during the service

If your younger children are in the service during the worship or preaching it is very important that they sit quietly beside you. If they are restless or noisy please take them out of the Worship Centre so they don’t distract other people in church, we have less than two hours together each week so this time is important to us all (you could take them to Ascension Kids, they will probably love it!).
