At Ascension Church we are passionate about Worship!! We love the presence of God because it in His presence that we find fullness of joy and the Bible says the joy of the Lord is our strength!
Praise and Worship is more than just singing songs. True worship is a life lived in obedience to God. He deserves our obedience, our surrender, our everything. God is looking for true worshippers who worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24). This means that we worship God by the Holy Spirit, being led by Him in all things; and that we are genuine in our worship toward God. God does not want lip-service, but a heart offered in sincerity.
Although Worship is not just about music, our Worship Ministry is interlinked with our Music Ministry. We are committed to serving God and our people by striving for excellence in the gifts that God has given us. Our Worship Team exists to lead people into the Presence of God and we take our ministry very seriously while enjoying what we do for the Lord.
